The PXx-POE-90W product series is a power transmitter and power splitter unit with an intelligent network power controller according to the latest 802.3bt Type 4 standard. This modern solution can transmit a maximum of 90W of power in addition to Ethernet data via the CAT5E LAN cable used in most places.

The power supply is not connected to the network cable until the receiving side is identified by the power transmitter. This means that there is no need to worry about short circuits during cable installation. This is the case with all standard PoE switches. The power splitter unit can also be used with these switches, even if they are only capable of older lower power outputs. Of course, in this case, a lower maximum power is also available at the output.

The power splitter unit contains a built-in DC/DC high-efficiency switching power supply with variable voltage level.
