PGRC-1_20 PROXERGATE REMOTE CONTROL - ENTRY GATE REMOTE CONTROL FOR PROXERGATE, PROXERPORT GATES

Brief description

GRC-1 ProxerGate Remote Control. Remote control and emergency switch for a ProxerGate access gate with wired RS485 interface.

Can be used to allow to pass a person through the gate, or carry larger package, furniture through the passage, or to provide a free way at the gate.
In case of faulty operation, the gate remote control also allows you to determine if the fault is to be found in the gates or in the access control readers and access control system.

You can control the operation of the gate in each direction using an operating mode (Free / Required / Closed) and an individual authorization button ("One person can enter / exit"). You can switch to an emergency manually with the Fire mode / Normal operation switch (e.g. if the gate has not been already connected to the fire alarm system).

The manual of the PGRC-1 is integrated into the manual of the access gates, as its application cannot be interpreted separately from the gates. The operation is different for turnstiles (ProxerGate3, 3E, 3EA, ProxerGate M3, M3E, ProxerGate4E), revolving gates (ProxerGate 5, 5D, ProxerGate 5 Glass, ProxerPort3 Glass) and swing gates (ProxerPort2, 2 Glass).

Properties

  • Mechanical size: 80 x 164 x 45mm

Technical Description

Main mode switch:
- Fire mode / Normal operation
In the event of panic or danger, the gate can be switched to Fire mode manually. The fixed-arm turnstile in both directions gets into “Free” mode, allowing people to pass in the set direction without checking any cards or other IDs, i.e., checking for authorization. The approaching person is then detected and released by the gate proximity sensor.
In the case of a drop arm turnstile, the drop arm is turned to the upper position and automatically lowered. The flashing green arrow on the semaphores indicates that the passage is free in both directions.

Optional directional mode switches:
- Free mode
If the mode switch is set to the “Free” position, people can pass in the set direction without checking any authenticated cards or other IDs. The approaching person is detected by the gate proximity sensor and released.

- Permitted mode
If the mode switch is set to "Permitted", the gate users can pass in the set direction after a card check or other ID check.
By pressing the "One person can enter" button, you can allow through the passage one person without a card or other ID check.

- Locked mode
When the mode switch is set to "Locked", no one can pass in the set direction unless the "One person can pass" button is pushed.

Access button:
- "One person can log in / out" - the individual permission button
- By pressing the "One person can enter" button, the operator can let through a person without presenting the authorized card or other ID
